The ProcessThe Design / Build process begins with meeting with you to assist in determining the feasibility of your vision and to begin the information gathering process. It is important to us that you discuss your vision of the project.
Prete Builders takes into consideration the following main factors of designing any project: the budget, the size and the specifications, the site and the lot conditions. All need to be managed while designing your home. Prete Builders takes your vision along with these main factors and begins to develop a plan for success in creating your home and budget.
Once this information is compiled, a preliminary proposal is presented of what your project will include and the budget. As your decision to proceed is made, the features of the project, the price ranges and the design process begins.
Prete Builders utilizes local architects and designers, structural engineers and landscape architects all working together as a unified team to help create your home. Paul Prete has enjoyed over 35 years of designing homes for his customers and can understand and appreciate each detail that is discussed through your design process. He is then able to identify with each phase of the project in greater detail and can manage these professionals in creating your vision.

During the design phase of your home, there will be several meetings to help determine the features of your home. These features are called your specifications and they will be developed as your project design starts to take shape.
Once your design and specifications are completed, we move forward to the agreement stage and document the project. We coordinate the transfer of your dream to our construction team who will be creating your vision.
